The Varsity and JV Football teams along with their coaches cooked and served hot dogs to pedestrians on Meeting Street, downtown Charleston (Meeting Street Ministry) on Monday, August 18, 5pm-6pm. CCPS is a Christian school with a core value of serving the community. The football teams took time out of practice to serve their downtown neighbors. Both students and coaches enjoyed the opportunity and plan to participate again in the near future.

CCPS is a K-12 nonprofit 501c(3) day school dedicated to educating children preschool through the grade. The school’s mission states to assist parents in raising children to their God-given potential 12th emotionally, spiritually, academically, physically for a lifetime of Kingdom-building service. The work of First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant and CCPS has been serving families since 1953.
