A Message from our Head of School
I am incredibly thankful for the exciting ministry that takes place on the campus of Coastal Christian Preparatory School on a daily basis. Our school community is blessed with fantastic students, families, Faculty, and Staff!
As a ministry of First Baptist Church Mount Pleasant, we take our CCPS mission to heart as we commit to “assist parents in raising children to their God-given potential emotionally, spiritually, academically, and physically for a lifetime of Kingdom-building service.” We highly value providing a Christian environment where students learn to love God and others, and where they also learn to make wise life choices. We also value producing confident, secure students who celebrate their unique qualities and boldly pursue their dreams. We value preparing students academically through challenging courses, small classes, and individualized instruction., as well as providing opportunities to excel outside the classroom. From a physical perspective, we value developing students with strength, endurance, and character through physical education classes and athletic opportunities.
Not only am I thankful for the wonderful students and families that invest in the CCPS mission, but as a leader, I am incredibly humbled by the amazing Faculty and Staff members that have been drawn to serve on our campus. They are fully committed to our students, and they serve with a spirit of joy and professionalism each and every day.
Throughout the school year, our CCPS Family will be encouraged to embrace the message of our 2023-2024 focus passage found in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” As we lead our students each day, we aspire to encourage them to embrace and put into action the reminders offered in this passage, and we commit to “live it out” as role models on our campus! Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for what the Lord has done and will do in the lives of our students, and it is our privilege to teach and encourage them each day!
